In actuality, Chi Kung consists of some very powerful, well-organized and harmoniously connected, sets of exercises that are celebrated in the martial arts world both for their health benefits and their efficiency in engagement.
It exercises combine movement, stillness, concentration and breathing exercises. Their primary goal is the total alignment of the body. It also improves the student’s ability to open and close the sternum, the back and the joints, include many breathing exercises (with varying quality, duration and relation between inhalation and exhalation) and increase concentration dramatically.
